DESCRIPTION:Have an interest in preserving history? Join Bobbie Mathis\, president of the Union City Society for Historic Preservation\, for a hands-on workshop focused on the cleaning\, stabilization\, repair\, & preservation practices for historic headstones & cemetery features. Bobbie will provide a practical introduction to recognizing monument conditions\, selecting appropriate methods\, & approaching repairs with respect for historic materials.\nThis event is for adults; however\, teens with an interest may attend.
